Review- Cherry Crush by Cathy Cassidy

Cherry Costello’s life is about to change forever. She and Dad are moving to Somerset where a new mum and a bunch of a brand-new sisters await.

And on Cherry’s first day there she meets Shay Fletcher; with suntanned skin and sea-green eyes he’s the kind of boy who should carry a government health warning.

But Shay already has a girlfriend, Cherry’s new stepsister, Honey. Cherry knows her friendship with Shay is dangerous- it could destroy everything. But that doesn’t mean she’s going to stay away from him…

I read this book quite a while ago and really loved it. I think I read it quite quickly, as well, which is always a sure sign that I enjoyed a book.
The characters are really great, as are all of Cathy Cassidy’s characters. Cherry, the main character, is brave and determined; something I like in a main character. If I was in that situation, I would want to be like her!
Shay Fletcher was a great love interest! It wasn’t overplayed, and there was a little bit of a love triangle. This could have been written a little better, I think, but I was still really happy with it. You knew from the start who was going to end up with Shay, it was expected.
I really love the cover! It makes me hungry! I much prefer this one to the other, paperback cover. The red really stands out; if you see it on a shelf you are instantly drawn to it.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book! The writing style was great and I felt really comfortable reading it.
MY RATING: 9/10
