Today I’m going to write a list of a few things I’d like to do in my next year of blogging.
1. Talk to more book bloggers.
Although I do talk to quite a few book bloggers, I only talk to a limited amount of people and I think I need to come out of my shell a bit and start interacting with new people. That’s not to say that the people I do talk to aren’t amazing but sometimes I do need to be better at communicating!
2. Get better at reviewing on time.
Sometimes I’ll leave it the night before a post it supposed to go online to write a post, mainly because, like I said above, I’m extremely lazy. I need to organise myself!
3. Experiment with blog posts.
I’m not very adventurous when it comes to blog posts and so I’d like to start writing discussion posts that are more interesting and exciting.
4. Set Embracing My Inner Geek up as a meme.
I’m running it tomorrow as a trial run but would like to set it up permanently in the future. I’m really looking forward to it!
5. Keep up the hard work!
Well, my opinion of hard! I’m so pleased with the way that my first year has gone and I can’t believe how much I’ve achieved. It’s surreal!
Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow to link up your EMIG posts!

26 April, 2013 at 7:55 amGreat goals, Lucy!
I also feel like I need to talk to more book blogger, I have a close group of bloggy buddies and I generally only talk to them, so I think that’s a great goal!
It would be lovely if you set up Embracing My Inner Geek as a meme! I think lots of people would join in (myself included)!
Your hard work has definitely paid off and I can’t wait to see what you have to bring us in your second year of blogging! 😀

26 April, 2013 at 9:52 amYou have achieved so much in yor first year and you should be really proud of all your fabulous content. Those are great goals although I am a frequent commenter, I don’t have twitter which I think has proved a great way to make bloggy friends. I will definatley be posting a Embracing my Inner Geek tomorrow and can’t wait to hear what you think? My copy of Geek Girl just arrived (perfect timing) and I bought Clockwork Princess too.

Good luck with your goals 🙂 I need to get organised with my posts too… I procrastinate to much. Although I have SOOOO many bloggy friends, I love them all to bits and am always up to making new ones. I will also look forward to EMIG as a meme – whoop!
