Interview- Sophie from A Day Dreamers World

Today on the blog we have an interview Sophie from A Day Dreamers World

Welcome to the blog, Sophie! First of all, what was the inspiration behind your blog?

I saw that one of my old friends had made a blog and I had tried out Tumblr but wanted something where I could post about books and do some writing. I guess this means my inspiration was my love of books and the fact that I have always loved writing.

If you could be the author of any book, which book would it be?

It would have to be The Hunger Games, as this is my favourite book and I love everything about it. The way it has such a strong lead character Katniss that is so brave and powerful. Then it tackles such important subjects like war and famine but in this exhilarating, fantastically told book!

Who is your favourite author, and why?

It would be between Suzanne Collins because The Hunger Games, as above, is so fantastic and Katniss is such a powerful character but I also love S.C Ransom author of the Small Blue Thing Trilogy because she writes such beautiful novels.

What is your favourite genre?

Dystopian and Young Adult Fiction!
If you could write a novel, what would it be about?

It would be so difficult to choose because I always seem to pick up a pen and right whatever idea is in my head at that moment. It would probably be about a teenage girl who is in a tough situation and who is fighting for something she loves.

Do you have any words of advice for anyone who wants to create a book blog?

Just write what you want to write, don’t try to please everyone, start with yourself. Basically write about what you love.

And, saving the hardest question for last, what is your favourite book/ series?

The Hunger Games of course!

Thanks for doing this interview, Sophie!

Thanks for letting me!
