REVIEW: The State of Grace by Rachael Lucas

I’ve been a very big fan of Rachael Lucas’s books ever since I read Sealed With A Kiss and fell in love with it. That meant I got super excited when I heard that Rachael was working on a YA novel. I was very lucky to get to read an early chapter of The State of Grace back when it didn’t have a book deal, so I’ve waited patiently ever since to read the final thing. I was not disappointed! It’s hard to describe exactly what The State of Grace is about because it’s one of those books that you really do need to…

REVIEW: Sealed With a Kiss by Rachael Lucas

Sealed with a Kiss, so called because it is set on an island where there are many cute seals, is the perfect summer contemporary to take with you on holiday whilst you’re lying by the pool, or sunbathing in your garden (that’s if Britain ever sees sunshine!). Rather than move back home to her ultra-bossy mother, Kate takes a job on the remote Scottish island of Auchenmor as an…

Wrapping up April!

So April was quite a busy month for me! I was off school for over two weeks so I got lots of time to catch up on reading, and it was really nice to just be able to relax. I announced I would be starting a new blog schedule, but, you know what? That’s now going! I’m now not going to have a blog schedule and I’m hoping this will take a lot of weight off my shoulders. I feel pressured all the time and I hate it. Now, I’ll only be reviewing books I want to and at any time…
